Baja California Peninsula Wall Map

Baja California Peninsula Wall Map

Winner of the ICA-IMIA Recognition of Excellence in Cartography at the 2021 Esri User Conference and Map Gallery. This prestigious award is jointly sponsored by the International Cartographic Association and the International Map Industry Association.

All of us at Benchmark Maps are grateful for their recognition and support.

Inspired by our new 1st edition Baja California Road & Recreation Atlas, this wall map beautifully illustrates the meandering coastlines, rugged mountain ranges, and arid desert plains of the Baja California Peninsula. The map’s vibrant colors and striking layout offer a comprehensive overview that is visible at a distance thanks to the print’s large dimensions: 30″ wide x 46″ tall. A closer look reveals the map’s finer details along with text highlighting the natural and cultural histories of the peninsula’s two states: Baja California and Baja California Sur. When standing nearly nose-to-map, as we cartophiles are known to do, a softened layer of detailed place names and road networks comes into focus, connecting the viewer with past and future adventures along the coastal highways and dusty back roads of the Baja California Peninsula.
