Benchmark Maps updates its Library of Congress entries and submissions

The Library of Congress in Washington DC is the de facto national library of the US and the repository of copyright protected maps and atlases. It’s the largest library in the world by shelf space and number of items.

Benchmark Maps has recently updated all of our listings (maps and atlases going back to 1995) and provided nine of our more recent titles and revisions for submission. Over sixty Benchmark maps and atlases will be available for inspection and research for now and generations to come. The library is open to us all but only members of Congress, Supreme Court justices and other high-ranking government officials have check-out privileges.
